Your membership in the union does not have to end when you leave the agency. Whether you are officially retiring or continuing your career somewhere else, you can remain a vital part of our community as an alumni/retiree member for $42/year. To do so, please fill out the “Retiree Membership/Renewal Form” (even if you are not a retiree) and notify chapter leadership.
By continuing your membership, you will retain full access to all chapter communications and events. Moreover, your membership supports NTEU to protect your federal benefits including:
- Stopping efforts to reduce retirement benefits and Federal Employees Health Benefits Program (FEHBP) coverage.
- Fighting against escalating prescription drug costs.
- Protecting cost-of-living adjustments (COLAs) and federal pensions.
- Tracking Social Security and Medicare proposals to ensure federal retiree access continues.
- Ensuring the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) maintains its independence, low fees, and adequate investment choices.
